I’m not becoming expectations
I’m not her and never will be
Two girls gone in different directions
Traveling toward the same galaxy
Let my star light shine on its own
No I’m no sister….
I’m Just my God Given Name.

Yo soy una mujer negra

Zoe Saldana “When I go to the D.R., the press in Santo Domingo always asks, “¿Qué te consideras, dominicana o americana?” (What do you consider yourself, Dominican or American?) I don’t understand it, and it’s the same people asking the same question. So I say, time and time again, “Yo soy una mujer negra.” (“I am a black woman.”) [They go,] “Oh, no, tú eres trigueñita.” (“Oh no, you are ‘dark skinned’”) I’m like, “No! Let’s get it straight, yo soy una mujer negra.” (“I am a black woman.”)”

Best Tool for Foundation Application!

The Sigma F82 Round top Kabuki brush is the best brush I have used for foundation application so far. It's rounded shape and small brush-head size is perfect for all the curves and contours of the face. It's synthetic fibres prevent any shedding and absorption of the product by the bristles. Best results when used with liquid and cream foundations. Can also be used for bronzer and contouring. Very multi-tasking brush.

Available at http://www.sigmabeauty.com/ for $16!!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

What the webite says about the product:
Our plant-based cleanser has a 2-phase action, phase 1 is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara.

Phase 2 is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to help gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin.

Naturally active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter for smoother, clearer skin.

What I say about the product:
It is a gentle (even around the eyes), powerful cleanser. Capable of removing all kinds of make up. It is creamy in texture and contains essential oils that help bring back life and glow to the skin. Suitable for problem skin (like mine). Very good exfoliation when used with a warm muslin cloth and reasonably priced at £11.75.

5 star product!!!
